This 1937 Replica was released in 1985 as part of the Zippo Vintage Series celebrating its original release. In1937 Zippo introduced the original 1937 lighter case with rounded corners and edges replacing the 1935 square case that was discontinued in 1940.  

 

Packaged in a cardboard gift box with the famous Zippo lifetime guarantee.

I've had this lighter for about 21 years now, in all that time it's been faithful and I can't remember more than a handful of times where it did not light on the very first flick. Being that my zippo is about 21 years old, it's not surprising that it's finally given up the ghost and needs to be flicked several times to get it to light. Not bad for an initial purchase of under $25.00
